for everyone
If you look in the mirror and find that you can't believe that the person staring back at you is actually you; then know that you are not alone.  Many of us look in the mirror day after day and don't pay attention to the fact that our clothes are getting tighter, until one day we look in the mirror and we don't recognize the person staring back at us. Suddenly, we see an overweight person and we wonder how we ever let this happen. We find ourselves embarrassed and disgusted at what we see looking back at us and wonder how to lose the belly fat and shed the pounds once and for all.

Many of us find ourselves staring in the mirror and feeling a bit overwhelmed and wondering how on earth we are going to lose belly fat and shed the excess pounds. The important thing to know is that nothing is going to offer overnight results. It's going to take time and commitment to yourself and to the program you choose to get results, and that won't come without frustration from time to time. The great thing is that it can be done, and the time will pass whether you spend it eating away your frustrations or working out and shedding the pounds.  The choice is yours and so are the consequences of those choices.

The big picture can be extremely overwhelming, especially if you have a great deal of weight to lose. 50 pounds can seem like a lot, and it is a lot, but a person can lose 50 pounds or even 150 pounds if they are ready to commit and not make excuses. It will take a while before you notice that you are starting to lose belly fat but it will happen. Make small changes with your diet in the beginning, such as eliminating all processed sugars and white products such as breads, rice, and potatoes.  Potatoes aren't bad but are high in carbs and calories, so they are best to be avoided in the beginning. They can always be added back in moderation at a later time.

Fill your body with fresh fruits, vegetables, lean proteins (such as fish, chicken breast, lean beef, or pork), complex carbohydrates (which can be found in whole grains), and heart healthy oils (such as olive oil or omega 3's). Your body needs all of these to function properly. In order to burn more calories and lose belly fat, one of the best workout options is to add interval training to your program. It is a high intensity work out which requires a little amount of time, but burns calories, builds muscle mass, and boosts metabolism.
